This motion graphic is based off of pages 6 and 7 of my previous Toxic Love project. Using the designs and photographs from the spread I created this video. It is inspired by the Spanish poem Mientras por competir tu cabello by Luis de Góngora that speaks to the standards of societal beauty. Societal beauty cannot compare to nature's beauty because it is only temporary. My goal was to show small pieces of the human face and body to showcase how natural form and shape is timeless, and therefore beautiful.
